For many fans, the news is especially emotional because Tina and Teddy’s relationship has been one of the most public in gospel music. Their marriage survived Teddy’s infidelity that became public knowledge in 2013 and 2014. The professional drummer confessed to having multiple extramarital affairs, including an intimate relationship with the family’s nanny.

The couple initially chose to stay together, renew their vows, and remain married for over a decade following the scandal. They openly shared their journey of forgiveness and healing through interviews, books, and their reality series Mary Mary.

Tina and Teddy Campbell share four children, along with Teddy’s daughter from a previous relationship, making it five children in their blended family.
