Aaron Pierre Confirms He’s Single After Split With Teyana Taylor
Aaron Pierre is officially single.
The 32-year-old actor confirmed his relationship status during an Aug. 7 appearance on TODAY, putting an end to speculation about whether he had moved on following his reported split from singer and actress Teyana Taylor.
When host Jenna Bush Hager asked Pierre directly if he was single, the Lanterns star responded, “I am!”
Pierre and Taylor publicly confirmed their relationship in June 2025 after months of speculation surrounding their romance.
While Pierre may be single, he certainly isn’t flying under the radar. Fans have embraced the actor as the “internet’s boyfriend,” and Pierre admitted that he appreciates the attention.
“We’re all only human,” he said, acknowledging that the heartthrob attention was “warmly received” and that it “definitely makes me smile.”
Still, Pierre doesn’t appear to be making dating his priority right now. The actor said he is currently focused on being “the best father” he can be while also being “the best artist” he can be.
For someone whose star continues to rise, Pierre’s comments suggest that his attention is firmly on family and his career rather than rushing into another public relationship.
