Bishop Marvin Sapp is kicking off a new chapter in his music career.

The gospel legend has officially partnered with Jay-Z’s Roc Nation Distribution for the release of his upcoming album, Restoration. The project will be Sapp’s 17th studio album and is expected to drop this fall.

Fans won’t have to wait too long for new music, either. The album’s first single, “He’s Not Finished,” is scheduled to be released on August 21, giving listeners a first taste of what’s to come.

Sapp said the partnership is something he never imagined would happen and called it another example of how God continues to open unexpected doors. He also shared that working with Roc Nation feels like a full-circle moment, especially since he’s reunited with longtime producer Stanley Brown, who helped shape some of his earlier music.

According to Sapp, Restoration is all about hope, healing, and reminding people that God isn’t finished with their story. Those themes are reflected throughout the album, which he says was inspired by the songs that naturally came together during the recording process.
