‘The Blind Side’ Actor Quinton Aaron Says He Doesn’t Need to Speak to His Ex Ever Again

Quinton Aaron is making it clear that he’s done looking back.

The actor, best known for playing Michael Oher in The Blind Side, recently opened up about the drama surrounding his marriage and said he doesn’t believe he needs to speak to his ex-wife again.

Aaron married Margarita DeLeon in December 2024, but later discovered that she was still legally married to someone else. DeLeon has said she didn’t know her previous divorce had never been finalized.

The situation reportedly came to light while Aaron was recovering from a serious medical emergency after he suffered a spinal stroke, pulmonary embolism, and spent time hospitalized.

Looking back on everything that happened, Aaron said he’s choosing to move forward.

“I don’t need to speak to her ever again,” he said.

Despite the painful experience, Aaron says he doesn’t want to hold onto anger. He said he wishes his ex well but wants to focus on himself, his recovery, and what comes next.

And honestly, sometimes closure doesn’t mean getting one last conversation. Sometimes it means deciding you’re done and moving forward.

For Aaron, it looks like that’s exactly what he’s doing.
