Dorinda Clark Cole Reveals ‘Church Hurt’ Almost Led To Suicide
Gospel legend Dorinda Clark-Cole is opening up about a low moment in her life that almost led to suicide.
During her recent appearance on Da Fixx Radio Show, the singer revealed that nearly 20 years ago, church hurt almost led her to take her own life.
While she did not go into detail about everything she experienced, Clark-Cole revealed that while trying to live a godly life, she encountered things she never thought would come from the church community.
Clark-Cole recalled that while she was speeding toward Detroit, she encountered the enemy, who began playing on her mind. The more he told her lies about her life, the more she began to believe them.
That moment ultimately became life-changing.
Clark-Cole recalled weeping and thanking God after she says He spoke to her and revealed that she needed to shut down the enemy’s voice and know that He had invested much in her.
The Clark Sisters member believes, without a shadow of a doubt, that had she not encountered God’s voice during that dark time in her life, she could have lost her life.
Twenty years later, Clark-Cole continues to evangelize across the nations, share her testimony, and witness souls being saved.
What was once one of the darkest moments of her life has now become part of the testimony she carries as she continues to minister to others.
