Megachurch Pastor Bryan Meadows Hit With Allegations After Woman Claims She Aborted A Baby During 13-Year Relationship

A woman has come forward with serious allegations involving Atlanta megachurch leader Bryan Meadows, claiming she aborted his child during what she describes as a years-long relationship marked by spiritual and emotional complications.

According to multiple reports, author and former pastor Stephanie D. Prescott recently identified Meadows as the unnamed pastor referenced in her earlier writings about spiritual abuse.

Prescott claims the relationship lasted approximately 13 years and began when she was connected to Meadows’ ministry at a young age.

In her account, she alleges that she became pregnant during the relationship and ultimately chose to have an abortion—an experience she later described as deeply painful and something she continues to grieve.

Pastor Bryan Meadows Previously Admitted to A Long-Term Affair

The allegations gained renewed attention after Meadows publicly acknowledged a long-term extramarital relationship during a recent podcast interview. While he did not initially name the woman involved, he admitted to having what he described as a years-long affair that began early in his marriage.

Meadows characterized the situation as a personal struggle, stating that he knew the relationship was wrong but continued it over time.

Prescott has since pushed back on the characterization of the relationship as simply an “affair,” instead describing it as involving grooming, power imbalance, and spiritual abuse. Her claims have sparked broader conversations within Christian communities about accountability, pastoral boundaries, and the dynamics between church leaders and members.

As of now, there has been no detailed public response from Meadows directly addressing Prescott’s specific allegations, including the abortion claim. The situation continues to draw attention online, with many calling for transparency and further accountability within church leadership structures.
