More Details Behind ‘A Different World’ Sequel
The upcoming sequel will revisit the fictional historically Black college Hillman College while introducing a new generation of students. Several original cast members are also set to return alongside Pinkett Smith, including Jasmine Guy, Kadeem Hardison, Cree Summer, and Darryl M. Bell.
The sequel continues the legacy of A Different World, which originally aired from 1987 to 1993 and became one of television’s most influential shows centered on life at historically Black colleges and universities (HBCUs).
