James Harden Accused Of Negligence In Sexual Assault Lawsuit

The NBA star, James Harden, has been named in a lawsuit accusing him of negligence after a woman, Marisa Watley, says she was sexually assaulted at his New Year’s Eve party.

In the complaint, Watley claims she and two friends went to Harden’s mansion party after seeing him at a club VIP section.

At the house, Harden’s nephew, Justice Blackburn, allegedly gave the women drinks that caused them to pass out. Watley says she woke up to Blackburn sexually assaulting her.

Watley also alleges that Harden’s security guards were well aware that the women were intoxicated and passed out, yet failed to intervene.

The lawsuit holds Harden “vicariously liable” for the actions of his guards and their corporate employer.

Wately is now reportedly speaking with a heavy stutter due to trauma from the alleged assault. She’s seeking more than $100,000 in damages.
