According to The Daily Mail, the couple shared intimate details of their ceremony at “The Barn At Faith Farms” in Athens, Tennessee, on Saturday, May 24th.
With Alicia Keys’ “If I Ain’t Got You” playing, Travis’s classic cream suit complemented Lenee’s stunning, modern off-the-shoulder gown for their first dance.
With only their closest family and friends present, Travis surprised Lenee with a stunning black Mercedes G-Wagon.
The wedding took place in December 2024 after an online controversy. To get you up to speed, Travis, 22, and Leanna,23, got engaged in February 2024 after being long-term high school sweethearts.
In December 2024, the discussion surrounding Hunter and Lenee’s relationship heightened after a 2022 video resurfaced of the couple reflecting on when they first started dating.
In the clip, Lenee admitted that she wasn’t initially interested in the athlete, who, during that time, slid into her DMs.
“I just didn’t respond to him. He wasn’t my type,” she confessed, before saying that she finally gave in to one of his messages after her brother told her who Hunter was.
Lenee also sparked controversy after leaving a hearty eye emoji and a dollar sign under NBA player Anthony Edwards’ photo on Instagram.
When Hunter received the Heisman Trophy as the best college football player, fans criticized Lenee for not giving him a standing ovation.
According to the viral video shared online, Deion Sanders, Hunter’s college coach, had to nudge Lenee before she got out of her seat to stand and clap for him.
In response to the harsh online criticism, Hunter went off during a live Twitch stream at that time, stating that his fiancée got drunk and cried herself to sleep.
“Y’all hate on me, then you go hate on my girl.” I feel the same thing that she feels. We’re inseparable. We’re with each other. If she’s hurting, I’m hurting.”
During that time, Travis deactivated his Instagram after a music video with Lenee dancing with another man went viral.
Lenee reappeared in April, after surprising her fiancé with a gold Rolex watch and a bracelet before his NFL draft.
Despite the criticism, Hunter and Lenee continue to share moments publicly emphasizing their commitment to one another.
