Celebrity entrepreneur and TV star Kim Kardashian has disclosed that a recent MRI scan revealed a “little aneurysm” in her brain, a bulging blood vessel that doctors say may have been triggered by stress.

The scare comes in the season 7 premiere of The Kardashians, where she opens up about the toll of co-parenting, her divorce from Kanye West, and a renewed flare-up of psoriasis.

During the episode, the 45-year-old is shown lying inside the MRI machine, hearing the words from her doctor,

“There’s like a little aneurysm.”

She later, visibly emotional, asked

“Why the f— is this happening to me?” Doctors on-screen said the aneurysm was “just stress.”

According to media reports, the reality star linked her brain aneurysm to the massive stress from her split with Kanye West. Kim made it clear that the pressures of recent years, including her divorce, were finalized in 2022. She also links stress to the challenges of raising four children: North, Saint, Chicago, and Psalm.

Kim also revealed that her psoriasis, which had been in remission since her divorce, recently flared up again, saying,

“I felt more stressed… probably because I had to super, super protect what I had to protect. My kids are involved now.”

Kim did not publicly disclose full medical details on how large the aneurysm is, whether it’s been treated, if she has symptoms, or what the long-term plan is. Outlets note that while aneurysms are relatively common, they may never rupture, yet it remains a serious finding.
